Five Masonic Children’s Hospital specialties ranked by U.S. News and World Report

UMP - Image - US News Rankings 2015U.S. News and World Report announced this week that five University of Minnesota Health pediatric specialties are listed in its 2015-2016 national rankings, up from three in the previous year’s report.

The specialty programs included are pediatric cancer; pediatric diabetes and endocrinology; pediatric gastroenterology and GI surgery; pediatric neonatology; and pediatric nephrology.

The U.S. News and World Report rankings are based on a number of factors, including reputation, patient outcomes, safety and quality, clinical offerings, and infrastructure. The rankings reflect the innovative, highly coordinated care our dedicated specialty teams provide for the patients at University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.

New University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center is a leap forward for patient care

That’s how University of Minnesota Health representatives describe a new, 318,000-square-foot University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center. The center, which is still under construction, will open for patients in January 2016.

Once completed, it will serve as a catalyst for the expansion of our extraordinary patient care and innovative research. Patient needs and the principles of access, innovation and cost-effective care have been incorporated at every level into the building’s development.
