Jon McIver, M.D.
Dr. McIver earned his medical degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1999 followed by his neurosurgical residency in 2006 at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He completed a Neurosurgical Fellowship in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery at the University of Toronto in 2007. Dr. McIver's major clinical interests are epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation for movement disorders and pain, dorsal column stimulation for failed back syndrome, minimally invasive treatment of spinal disorders, and radiosurgery for tumors, pain and tremors.
Cornelius Lam, M.D.
Dr. Lam received his medical training at the University of Colorado and his postgraduate training in neurosurgery at Beth Israel Hospital of Boston. He completed his neurosurgical residency at the Montreal Neurological Institute and went on to Montreal Children's Hospital for a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery. He is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota.
Robert E. Maxwell, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S., Emeritus
Dr. Maxwell trained in neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota where he was Professor and former Head of the Department of Neurosurgery. He is considered one of the most experienced epilepsy neurosurgeons in the world. Dr. Maxwell acted as a neurosurgical consultant to MINCEP from 1982 to 2006 when he retired.
